Tomorrow marks one month into the Mr. Moofs experiment. I am pleased that he is gathering a small following and I am slowly picking up the watercolor techniques that I was looking for. It is a long road but I have been enjoying the process. Hopefully as I continue I will progress further - still a long way from where I want to be. Thanks to all who are following Mr. Moofs saga. RB

Through an odd interaction I got an idea for a story about a toy moose and an evil sister. The idea quickly ran away with itself. The drawings kept coming to me and developed into something that I knew was a little special. I decided to use it to develop my watercolor and composition skills as well as self imposed deadlines. I will post one page per week on Facebook which will hopefully lead more people to the website. I hope that you all enjoy it and please, share with your friends.

Very nice to see everyone at the AS220 show opening on the 5th. Thanks to all that could attend. Tough to pull together a show in a limited time like that but it resulted in a piece that I like very much - "Grandma's Chair II". The painting "Grandma's Chair I" was not accepted for the Providence Art Club Painting show this year but I am still pleased that I was able to finish it in time to submit - and it got me painting again. The new concentration that I have tried to put into my work seems to have made a difference - things are starting to happen. My primary goal is to work on and finish the "Melba" book within the next year. I'll keep that one under wraps for now...

After more than a bit of frustration and some persistance RedDogArt is up and running. If you know me at all you are aware that I am not a "computer guy". Nevertheless, here we are. I've tried to make the site as varied as possible in order to give a overall representation of my work. In several areas I have mentioned that I may be contacted via e-mail for further information or additional photos of available art.
There are a few glitches on the pages that I cannot seem to rectify due to the host limitations. If you have any suggestions as to how I may improve the website please let me know - I welcome all feedback.
I will try to keep things moving here. Please come back frequently to have a look. Forward the link to any of your friends that might be interested or place it on your Facebook page if you wish. I thought long and hard before doing this because I felt that after the initial curiousity of friends and family, the interest would wane. That may indeed be the case but I'm willing to give it a try and see what happens.
I don't expect that I will be blogging much unless I find something that you all might find interesting. In the meantime, thanks for coming by. Be sure to check out the Gallery and the Web Store. You may find something interesting on the links page as well. Sign the guestbook if you wish - I'd love to know who was here.
Stop in again soon.
