One of my favorite writers. Neil LIVES outside the box - no I take that back, he has stomped on, chopped up, ground down, and burned the box. Often pairs up with fantastic illustrators such as Dave McKean and Gris Grimly. "Neverwhere" is a must read as is "The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish".

Artist of many Neil Gaiman books including the Sandman covers. Paint, collage, computer, whatever he can use successfully. McKean has been very inspiring to me at times but he is light years ahead of my own work.

If you like the mind of Tim Burton you will dig the Oblong website. Not for the faint of heart...but a lot of fun.
